Cool, I just moved into a house so my tank will be on hold for a few months. However, I think we can get something going. Whether it is just going over someone's house to look at their tank and swap plants or BSing over a few beers it's good to talk face to face w/ other fishkeepers.
Once I get settled in I'll be looking for some good plants to start my tank.
I only have room for a 20gal. So I am thinking about some hardwater fish so I don't have to mess w/ the hardness to much.

I would also like to Meet, I've been dying to fine other fish geeks to talk fish with. I'm going to contact Steve Hampton and let him know about this. He and I have been discussing getting a freshwater fish / plant club going for a while now.

Well since you are twisting my arm LOL!
Here is the link to my gallery, the pictures are a little out of order and there are 2 pages of them. This is just my little tiny office, a 100 gallon tank is going in the big open space and I can fit 6 10 gallons and a bunch of tiny tanks on the shelves.

I was hoping you'd surface

Simply get a site to host you(eg TPT or I'll do it if you wish) and meet there to post info, local resources, articles, open houses, meets, plant swaps etc.

No membership fees, since you can raise $ selling weeds on line for that if the need arises. You can buy a nice set of Lamott Test kits etc for the club or other goodies like a UV.

Start posting for the local club, the goals and other things you want out of it and go from there.

Folks hope on board.
Post in local aquarium societies, LFS's etc.

Hey if any of you jacksonville people are looking for a tank look at the deal I just found on craigslist, 120 gallon for $40.00 ( sounds like it needs to be resealed but WOW what a deal) http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/for/376740203.html If I was still looking I would have jumped on this in a heartbeat.

I can do some fliers and cards to put around LFS in town to get publicity.
But I am getting ahead of my self.
For now just picking a meeting place and time for the initial hook-up would be good. we can go from there.
