Tampa Bay area Planted Tank Club? - Page 2

Hello out there in the Tampa area

Alex Perez

and all others that have posted to this thread it looks like we might have about a dozen people interested and I think that once up and running we would be able to get new members by posting signs at LFS. I know that summer is almost here and everyone is going to be gone alot but maybe we could start planing now for a meeting in September or October. I think its time we do something to get this group together or we go out into the big bad world alone, like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays

So im not sure if I missed some information or not but did this ever get up and running? I would be really interested in joining a freshwater tank club. I've been in a reef club for a little while now and I enjoy it immensly. Are any meetings planned or did this idea fall through?

I'd be in too, I live in Pinellas. What about meeting up at some public place if anyone doesn't want to volunteer their house?

Don't think anybody is 'running' it at the moment. It's more of an idea that no one has put together yet.

Well we should work on that. I attend a tampa reef club and love it and Fresh would be just as well. I would be willing to help plan this if anyone else would liek to step up aswell. Each meeting we can pick a topic to discuss, maybe print out some handouts, swap ideas and discuss where to go from there?

Someone has to take charge for the people who are interested or this will never get anywhere.
