female betta's and shrimp

Has anybody had any problems keeping these 2 together? I'm thinking of keeping some cherry shrimp. Just wondering why kind of fish won't eat them.

Cherrys can be small, so I think there is always the possibility they will become snacks!

A LFS around here had Cherry Reds in with some very small loaches. The loaches enjoyed a tasty and expensive meal!

What about the betta's with amano's? I plan on having some ghost, but I can get them so cheap I really don't care if they get ate.

I think the amano shrimp will be okay... Test out with a ghost first, see if the females try to eat it... If not, spend the money on the amanos

I've never had female bettas with them, but my Amano's have been fine with my swordtails (until they passed on, at least).
