Medication right after Water Change

Is it safe to go about this? I am using an Ich Medication and didn't know if I should put it in the tank before or after a water change..

I've been fighting off a particularly nasty bout of ich for the past two weeks -- I've finally got it all, though am still dosing to be safe.

It's best to do a 25% water change or so before using the medication. Repeat this process for a week and see how your fish are doing.

If you perform the water change directly after adding the medication ... well ... that's kind of defeating the entire purpose of adding medication.

Well I medicated right after the water change and noticed that the medication doesn't dissolve in the water. It rises up to the surface along with the many air bubbles. It doesn't make sense to do medication right before a water change but I guess I am wondering how many hours could you treat before you do the water change.

When you medicated after the water change your fish looked ok?
