are rams and discus more sensitive to hight amounts of co2 then cardonals rummynose and rasboras every time i replace the diy co2 and there is more co2 then there soiudl be for the first day the rams always take it hard. what co2 range is hte max for those fish? is 30-35ppm to much for rams?

I'm currently keeping common ( german or blue) rams in my planted tank and my co2 levels are about 35ppm at the moment.
A few years ago I was keeping discus in my planted tank and at the same levels they not only spawned regularly but also reared a couple of broods of young with no problems. |

yeah its probably the sudden ph swings not CO2
