Anyone know where they have Panda corys in Orange County, CA??
i've been to about like 6-7 lfs around here in OC, and not one of them carries panda corys!! i really want them but ordering them online wasnt a bad idea..until i looked at shipping..yea so if anyone knows please tell!!
i also was in san diego for a while, and went to a store there once, and they had pygmy corys...the drive to san diego is about 2 hours (when theres lots of traffic) from where I am...do you think the pygmy corys would be able to survive the drive Thanks! |

Fobbybobby-
Right now, I don't know of any lfs in O.C. that have pandas, and I've made the rounds to all of them within the last couple of weeks. They're kind of seasonal, I guess. A couple of months ago, you could find them EVERYWHERE: Tong's in Fountain Valley, Pacific Reef in Anaheim, West Coast Tropicals in Buena Park, etc... You'll probably just have to wait until whoever their supplier is restocks. My only concern is that I've never seen pandas bigger than 3/4" (babies, really) around here, and they're usually pretty fragile. I've never had luck with them, whereas all my other cories do fine. The only other option would be COAST (the fish club that meets in Costa Mesa once a month). There's a guy who breeds them, and always brings a bag or two to auction.
