Planted Tank Obsessed
|
Hmmm.. Platy, in my tank, are babies or juveniles an they only eat plants that are dead or dying(like Senegalis leaves that died from Bleach treatment).. they do'nt really pick at the plants if they are healthy. However, it depends really on weather they have a choice on things. If you supliment their diets with things like spinach they may leave other things alone.
If you are buying the moss SPECIFICALLY for that tank, I would be cautious. If you have another tank put half in that tank and half in the one with the platy... see what happens..

They should do no damage to the Moss. I have Java moss with a Molly which also picks at algae & does no damage to the plants.
