parrot cichlid eggs - only one fish?

Hello all.

My parrot cichlid has laid a ton of eggs on one of my rocks. The thing is, there isn't another parrot fish in the tank! I am new to fish breeding. I am guessing that the fish lays eggs and a male will fertilize them? Anyways, she is gaurding the eggs with her life lol. What should I do??

Not much you can do.... Most Parrot cichlids are infertile anyway so I wouldnt worry too much about it.. even i fyou had a pair odds are they wouldnt ever hatch
