Anyone know of a good source for the Olive Nerites?

Been looking for some, only found one place so far, and the reviews on that site are pretty much all bad. Local club is looking to do a group order, so we are needing a lot. Thanks for any help.

Just got mine from http://www.wilmasthecause.org/ only $2 a piece + shipping. In additional to a great price you get to help introduce people to the aquatic world!

We were hoping to get them at a volume price as we are looking for a few. I had looked at the cause though, sent an email and never heard back. *shrug*

Sorry, don't think $2 is alot for nerites and I don't think you're going to get anything lower than that. The going price is around $4 -5 a piece. Besides it's a non-profit charity.

Anyone selling/transporting/importing snails needs have a special permit from the USDA. Which in itself is a royal PITA. Then she has to pay for them and then pay to have them shipped to her.

Maybe that's the reason she never answered you.

Good luck in your search. If you find a better price than that post it.

What reason? I only emailed stating that we were looking for nerites, and were interested in getting a lager number of them. Wasn't sure of going rate as they are hard to find. Thanks for the info, I will wait and see if I hear from her, it would be nice to support her cause.

Also, we have found them cheaper, but the company has a ton of negative feedback, so didn't think it would be worth it.

actually theres a lfs in southern NJ, Aquarium Center in clementon that sells them for 99c each.

I dont think they ship though, might want to get a help from someone in south jersey to help out.
