Help me pick some fish

What kind of fish do you guys recommend for a 40 gallon community tank? My tank has been up and running for about two months. I got 5 WCM about 3 weeks ago, they're all doing fine so far. I also got 2 clown loaches this past weekend. I'm thinking of getting at least one Pleco or SAE to take care of some algae. What else should i look into getting?

I would suggest some rummynose tetras they are very peaceful and school like mad they go well with a community set up. Also I would suggest at least two SAEs and maybe a couple of ottos also to deal with the algae. Corys are also a wonderful community fish and help eat uneaten food at the bottom. You could help by telling us what you like and dont like that would help more.

I don't know too many fish to say exactly what I like. I like fish that are pretty active, but I've also seen really colorful ones that just kind of hang out that i like. I just want to make sure they all get along and don't get nipped at.

I really wanted to get some puffers, but after some research I found out they get territorial and aggressive. Which is a shame cuz they have great personalities.

I second the rummynoses. Beautiful fish and a big group would look great in a 40g.
I would suggest, if possible, getting rid of the clown loaches as they can grow over a foot long and like to be in groups. Your tank is just too small for them. There are plently of other loaches that would fit in your tank though.
