Oops!!! They did it again!
Nothing special, just a water change. These are horny pigeons. lol There are a lot more eggs this time though. At least double the amount. I have already seperated the two with a partition in my 40 gallon tank with half the space. Lets hope the male didnt shoot blanks this time. haha. But even if they hatch, I dont think I have the time for the fries. Working as a grunt for 12 hrs a day...Bummer. |

Yeah, nice looking discus and zebras. I had a pair of discus that paired up after a few months of being together in the tank. They spawned practically on a weekly basis, but they kept eating the eggs as well. I moved them into their own tanks and they still spawned on a regular basis. Unfortunately, they kept eating the eggs. I suspect the eggs were not getting fertilized, since I was using regular tap water and not RO water. It didn't matter, because I wasn't really too interested in breeding them if I had to switch to RO water.
What kind of pleco is the one on right most cave? Have your zebras spawned as well?
