sad situation........ ethical question

So i think one out of 4 of my neons has the dreaded NTD neon tetra disease, however i am not sure seeing as how there is some bacterial infection that resembles it. but i am pretty sure. Question is do i kill the one and let the other 3 live or hope for the one to get better? Im thinking I am going to kill the one but not yet since all he has so far is a small missing part of the stripe and a small bruise. He does not have erratic swimming or large cysts quite yet . i am sad

Sorry to say,but in my experience when one dies of this dreaded disease they are all doomed.I tried eliminating affected ones early, but soon realized that they all got it anyway. In 2 years I have lost 11 out of my original batch of 12,one by one, from the same symptoms.

Where are pics of your fish? It could only be bacterial infection more than NTD. Get Furan2 and Kanacyn. Treat the foods with kanacyn before feeding them to your fish.

dont loose hope!!! i had a large furry white patch on the side of one of mine. I figured it was only a matter of time but the little guy pulled through and i the patch is gone and i have had no losses. I couldnt even medicate because i have a wack of shrimps and been 2 lazy to pick up a holding tank. Sometimes(rarely) they can beat it on their own.
