Your favorite angelfish varieties

I agree with those who say it is entirely a matter of personal choice.
For a while, I really loved kois. And blacks can be very striking - especially the 2 in combination.

But I now prefer more natural looking types. Silver stripes and ghosts are my faves, and I have had better luck in terms of hardiness.

Has anyone found any real nice Half Blacks?? I'm looking for ones whose silver part is solid silver - no blotches. Are there any? (not sure if that's even possible)

I'm also finding myself partial to Platinums. They are VERY striking in pictures, but not sure how they look in a tank???

i like the wilds or the wild types the best because i just think none of the other varieties have that brilliance, but heres my preference in order

1) Wild Altum
2) Wild or wild type Scalara
3) Koi
4) Black
5) Platinum White

I personally hate longfin varieties because i think angels with longfins look deformed and retarded (just personal taste), matter of fact i hate any fish with longfin variety

I hope they reflect light like in the first pic. I'm seriously thinking of ordering a pair. I'm still torn between them and a pair of Half Blacks. I'm kind of confused on the breeding of the half blacks, though. Oh, and I ended up falling in love with the ones that do have a vertical stripe! Otherwise, they have kind of a ghost stripe, and I find the real stripe to be more striking. I'll hunt up a pic..
