Fish-safe foods?

Does anyone know where there's a list of food that are safe for fish to eat? I wanted to try my hand at making fish fish (my mom will be so thrilled

) but I need a list of OKs and Not OKs

I know some discus breeders that use garlic, frozen cooked shrmp, and beefheart as most common ingredients in their beefheart mixes.

Shrimp, platies, cories, Bolivian ram, flame gourami, tetras. Basic 'community' fish. (Wish I could have a mudskipper though!)

How to make 1 lb. of fish food for a Community Tank
2 pkgs Knox Unflavored Gelatin
1 cup Boiling water
1/2 lb. Raw Shrimp
1/4 lb. Fresh Scallops or Oysters
2 Tbs Ground Wakame or 1 sheet of Nori
1 tsp Cyclop-eeze
1/2 tsp Liquid Kyolic or Garlic Extract
1 Tbs Selcon or other marine vitamin supplement
1 Tbs Flake Food
Boil water and pour into glass measuring cup. Add gelatin powder. Stir constantly until gelatin is completely dissolved. Set aside for at least 15 minutes to cool. Remove shells and tails from shrimp. Dice shrimp into small pieces and place in blender. Add scallops/oysters, Wakame/Nori, Cyclop-eeze, Kyolic, Selcon, and flake food. Pour in gelatin liquid.
Set blender on liquefy or highest setting and run for 3-5 minutes. Stop blender and stir occasionally to make sure entire contents are blended evenly. Mixture should have the consistency of thick pancake batter, barely pourable. If mixture is too thin, add more flake food.
Pour or scoop out mixture into plastic trays, Ziploc bags, or other molds. Refrigerate overnight to allow gelatin to set. Place fish food in freezer. Double or triple bag extra portions to prevent freezer burn. Freeze for 24 hours. Food is now ready to use.
NOTES:
• Use only fresh or raw seafood. Previously frozen or thawed seafood should NEVER be used.
• Do not used toasted or baked seaweeds. This should be indicated on the package.
• Food will hold together for at least 5 minutes in tank water. Some small particles are normal. If food falls apart too quickly during feeding, blend longer or add more gelatin next time.
