Default Suitable dither fish for Badis Badis?

Just need some thoughts on what to look for ,trying to keep the India/Asia theme going maybe?Mid and topwater?Any thoughts as usual are appreciated!
Any barbs or tetras or bottom feeders come from around there?

Some rasboras would do the the trick.

Try to get some of the smaller ones like maculatus or espei.

The smaller ones will be less of a threat to your fry.

I keep mine with various danios and they do nicely together. My badis tend to stick close to the bottom of the tank. My Cory's just plow through them and they don't seem to mind!

Danios are pretty good at eating fry so beware. The CPDs might be a good option though.

A bristlenose pleco should be fine to add to the tank.
