Default How many Black Skirt Tetra With 2 Dwarf Cichlid in 10 gal

10 gal heavily planted, 2 dwarf cichlids trying to breed but want a school fish in there with them... they are good parent's so i think it should be fine would the black skirt tetra's be okay? how many could i put in there?

well what kind of schooling fish could i put in there to help the dwarf be a little less stressed and move around more. I want a really nice looking school of fisht aht will look good on the green plants

Try to look for some smaller tetras.....like ember tetras. Black skirt tetras are going to ultimately slaughter your fry if your dwarfs spawn.

Try to find either smaller tetras, rasboras, hatchets (providing your tank is covered) or pencilfish.

I would go with a school of around 6.

Pencilfish will work just as well as the ember tetras.
