Default What would you do?

So I found a totally free 29gallon tank in my city with filter, tank, heater and stand all included! My parents are definitely letting me have it (may not let me set it up but when I move out I will have a 29 gallon tank for free lol) but if they do let me set it up, what would you stock it with?

I'd say the same as on this thread, just add a few more fish: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/ge...20-gallon.html

Is it going up in place of the 20 gallon high or are you going to have both of them (if your parents let you)?

If you are replacing the 20 gallon with this one, then I agree with LauraLee. Add some more of what you have to increase the school size. If this is going to be completely new and along with the 20 gallon, they you can get some loaches!

Whenever I'm in this situation, I always ask myself "What would Jesus do?" After all, 3x otos, pair of bolivian rams, and 10 small bodies tetras of your choice seems like a reasonable advice.

Nope this will be completely seperate from the 20 gallon So I can start with scratch. I know I definitely don't want angels (I said in another thread they just make tanks look tiny and they get so tall). I like your idea SeaSerpant, how about:
~1 small pleco (clown, bristlenose, queen arabesque pleco etc.)
~4 long finned rosy barbs
~6 cardinal tetras
~3 loaches of some kind (not sure yet)
~5 otocinclus

Hey James From Cali if I do what you say but switch the cardinals for serpae tetras and get a blue gourami (or opaline) with the clown pleco that would be a beautiful tank! Maybe I get two clown plecos? So:
~2 Clown Plecos
~8 Serpae Tetras
~1 Opaline Gourami/Blue Gourami

That would be beautiful...maybe thats what I'll do! IF my parents let me do this, and it can't go in my room because I already have the 20 gallon fish tank and the 30 gallon dart frog tank in there. But when I asked him if I could have it he said that maybe he did!!!! LOL

I would stick to 1 Clown pleco. It would be a really pretty tank and I think that with it being well planted as well would make it just as more prettier.

Is there a reason for the 1 pleco? Also if I did just get one, can I add 4 dwarf corydoras catfish too?
So:
~1 clown pleco
~1 blue/opaline gourami
~8 serpae tetras
~4 dwarf corydoras catfish
