Thanks Lauralee, I've just started to do a little research on Oto breeding. Unfortunately I'm treating the tank for ich at the moment and the temp is at 86 with a good bit of salt added. The Otos and all seem to be handling it well, only a few days left until I begin to lower the temp. Maybe she'll hang on till then?

ooo keep an eye on her- otos don't do well with salt. On the other hand, once you start doing the PWC to remove it, that may very well be what she needs, if she is truly pregnant!

I do stuff

As usual, I can't give rep to LL because I have too recently. But she's dead on with ottos and salt tolerance. I find they are sensitive to high temps, as well. My theory (guess) is the lowered amounts of O2 in warmer water. I realized early that ottos did much better in my systems on wet/dry. Then even better on "goldfish" systems (unheated). If you give them time, they can acclimate to most healthy aquariums. But salt and hot is a no-no, IME. And it's only my experience.
