What fish for an 11" cube?

Regarding stocking would work well for my Aquasoil using cube?
Microrasbora are an option as are pygmy corydoras but what other options are there?
I'd have CPD but I've read they like it alkaline.
Anyone got any ideas?

How big the tank size is hard to say. Some fish are more active than others and require more swimming room. It's also debatable. Some people say they can fit fish X into tank size Y while others argue that. Of course the fish will still be healthy in a smaller tank, but just keep in mind all fish would ideally prefer large amounts of swimming space similar to their natural habitat.

As for # of fish, it depends on a lot of factors, such as size/frequency of water changes, plant density, swimming space for each fish, fish preferences (schooling or solo?), fish waste amount (some fish are bigger eaters than others), filtration power/capacity, etc.

I'd say boraras Maculata, or cpd's. Alot of CPD's are captive bred now, and are alot easier to adapt to various aquaria, as opposed to WC ones. All my CPD's are in water that is neautral and somewhat soft.

Thats horrible. Out here, I have a lfs that has them for $2.50/each, so like, 1pound, 50pence i'll assume.
There is a breeder over there though. I know that for sure. Check out celestialpearldanio.com and go to their buy/sell section.

You can always go with the nice looking and affordable endler livebearers.

www.franksaquarium.com tends to have a good selection of nano fish, too... not sure that the weather has warmed up enough for shipping yet, though?

They don't ship to the uk I've asked before.
It's simply a matter of finding something suitable.
Recommendations are always good though.

No worries.
I'd like to try my hand at microrasborra but they're pretty common nano fish and I wanted something unusual.
