Thx for the heads-up SearunSimpson, I upped your rep. Those prices are definitely much better than what we can get them for down here (cheapest I've seen them sold in the US is online at about $6/ea). When I start up my next 10 gal planted tank, I may try to get some ppl to throw in on some to get a group-buy going, but I'd probably have a higher chance of gettin more ppl to get in on it if I knew approximately what size the group-buy would have to be for it to be worth it for your LFS.

Oh, I just thought of this- There is a guy or girl on celestialpearldanio.com that has bred a tonne of them, and there are others that are breeding them too from down in the states. Check over there and ask if anyone is selling their CB ones. That way, shipping would be done state to state instead of internationally.

I wouldn't ever by an 'adult' cherry red shrimp. The reason the hobbiests ship small ones like less than 3/4 inch is becuase they acclimate better. The full grown adults don't, and tend to die. So haveing that ship charge more for an adult shrimp is very silly. It just proves they don't know their stuff, or are out for the quick buck and not about building relationships (not into building repeat buyers out of customers).

Kayakbabe...?

Ya I've been to celestialpearldanio.com, but only perused the forum for a little bit. I'll probably check it out more when the time comes for me to stock my 10 gal

ha ha just found this old thread... sorry about posting that cherry response into the wrong thread. I generally have 10-15 windows open at any time, so pages can load while I read other ones. I'm guessing I replied in the wrong thread.

Sorry about that...
