30 gallon
Ok I’m just trying to figure out amount of fish that would be good for my 30 gallon. Right now I have 1 pleco, 1 whiptail cat, 6 corys cats (3 leopard corys, 3 panda corys), 5 tiger barbs, 5 zebra danios, 2 checkered barbs, 1 comet goldfish, 2-3 Spixi snails, 1trapdoor snail that just had a baby.
Now I’m currently finding another home for the comet (preferably the pond in my colleges green house), the zebra danios and checkered barbs. I’m also considering finding homes for the panda corys too, but really I need to know if I was overstocked. So I can figure out the right amount of fish I should have. Any input would be much appreciated. |

I think you were alright with that fish load but not that fish combo. Good thing your finding new homes for some of them

I'm not sure what type of pleco but it's still relatively small (though i did know they get big when i bought) now my plan is to actually upgrade my tank to him I'm sort of attached to him by this point. the gold fish was actually all that left from when i was cycling my first tank this year before i actually knew what i was doing.
skabooya what do you mean by my fish combo |

I think your fishload is OK, if you are able to keep nitrates at a good level with water changes (or lots of plants). Having said that, Tiger barbs can get kind of large and there may not be a good amount of activity room for them. If you are upgrading to a bigger tank for the pleco, the tiger barbs would probably enjoy it as well
