Breeding Rosy Barbs

Anyone here have experience with breeding Rosys? I have M/F pair of Rosys and a M/F pair of longfin Rosys.

I read that I should put the female in the breeding tank for a few days, then add the male. Watch for them to spawn, then put both fish back into their regular tank. That sound right? It also said they spawn on plants. Will Wisteria work? Also, will Wisteria grow with just natural light?

see if the female is plump first... you can put the couple in at the same time.. They'll breed in no time.. The water change triggers spawning.
SOmetimes multiple pairs are better.

any plant is fine. They'll eat the eggs as fast as they lay them so, take them out fast when they're done.

Plumper than normal? LOL Actually, she's been extra plump for a few weeks, I think.
