Florida FLAG fish eats dwarf hair grass

Thought I'd let you guys know. Anybody else with this experience?..
My hair grass wasn't in great condition but since introducing the flag fish, the grass looks like it was grazed.

varies from fish to fish, tank to tank.
my tank's full of hairy leafed plants
and mosses, and my flags do not
touch any of them.

The hair grass is the only plant it touches.. The java moss is fine.

mine doesn't eat hair grass, but does eat star grass and pokes holes in dwarf lobelia and swords. he eats hair algae like a champ too, so its yin and yang.

I just ordered some HC for the same tank. If he eats that, then...

What do you guys feed your flagfish?
I'm thinking it's hungry and eating plants instead.. I see it eating sinking wafers with the flying foxes & b. histrionica.
