Possible Fish Disease, Need a little help

Hey guys,

I think I have a possible fish disease. I checked it out and I think it's Columnaris (I think that's what it's called) but I'm not positive, and I was hoping you guys might be able to help me out some.

The reason I think something is up is because on the lip of my Turqoise rainbows there seems to be this white growth forming. I lost a Farlowella in the last week but there wasn't anything obviously wrong.

I was wondering if you guys had any idea what it might be and how I can get rid of it. I don't want to go dosing medications and changing tank temps and stuff without knowing what it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Furanace works well if that is really what you have. Typically youll get growths around the mouth or a saddle like patch on the fish's back. Not a really rough med, but great at killing bacterial infections.
