They tend to do this fighting stuff alot.. over food and such.. haha they are so funny.

haha yeah.. they are like that.. I think it is wqeird how there is a big one.. then another big one but smaller then the biggiest.. and so on and so one.. they are like china dolls.. stepping down in size haha.. maybe fightings and losing makes them grow slower haha

hold old/big are they? and how many do you have? and I bet that they do... most fights only last a few secounds but that one went on for a long time..

Mine have done that, although I've never seen them make that much contact. It's more " chasing" and not so much bumping. Usually one or both will be almost totally washed out in color as well.

the lack of color is a way for it to signial it submits.. meaning he is defeated.. gives up.. surrenderes even haha

My big SAE just bothers the Cory's especially at feeding time. I would swat at it w/ my planting tong just to teach it to stop shoving the cory's (hoping to train it like a dog).

Obet.. I notice you only have one SAE.. the aggresstion towards others is probably due to the fact that you only have one.. if you add 3 more SAEs I am sure the aggresstion would stop.. SAEs alone are a bit more pushy as they are no others for it so worry about.. it thinks it is boss of everything..

I did that to stop my blue gourami from chasing my kribs.

I've had them a little over a year. The largest I'd guess is around 5".

Would the size of the SAE to be added makes a difference? I was thinking about adding some more lately but am afraid that all of the SAE's might gang up on the cory's. Maybe i will just trade in this big one & get 2 or 3 smaller SAE. What do you think? Thanks.

no.. the size should not matter.. the two SAEs might duel with each other to determine who is biggest but yeah/.. but if you add two they still might gang up.. so best to jsut get 4 or 5 small ones to get the correct number of SAEs ASAP to stop agression..
