Stocking a 20 G African biotpoe

Any suggestions for stocking a 20H African biotope setup? It's my school tank so I want it to hold more than just two shell dwellers.
Thanks.

instead of just 2 shell dwellers, put a colony of multis in there.. that would look awsome

That sounds like the best idea. Can there be any other fish in the tank? What about plants like anubias or val spiralis. Do shell dwellers eat plants.

Shellies dont eat plants but depending on the species they dig like crazy. Multies are the worst. Right now I have an adult pair of brevis in my planted tank and they occasionally dig a small pit in front of the shell they spawned in. They never disturb the plants, although they have taken quite a toll on their tank mates.
