Lost or Hiding Dwarf Pleco?

oh oh
2 weeks ago I did a bunch of replanting, cleaning and some rock moving in my 26g.
I have (had??) 3 dwarf bristlenos plecos. For a day I saw 1 then for a week I saw 2, now for the last couple of days ony 1 again (I can recognize the markings so I know it's just the one)
How long will these hide? IF I buried one , what to do? Test readings show the water is good.

Plecos have a wierd uncanny ability to hide really well. I couldn't find one that was in my dads 200 gallon it was over a foot long too but, eventually it turned up. I'm sure its just hiding.

my plecos have a remarkable ability to hide, I usually use a flashlight to peer into the dark hidey holes if I am looking for them. Works pretty well.
