unusual mix?

i was thinking of adding some sort of carp or goldfish to my tank.. i know people keep carp and goldfish in cold water tanks but can anyone suggest any type of carp that i could keep in my tank, im worried about if they will try to eat tetras or if the warm water will make them grow to fast, i was thinking of getting a baby ghost carp there only about £3.00 to buy.

i havent read if they like to munch plants yet but that will proberly be the deciding factor, my tank is 3foot x 2foot deep x 15" wide...

is this a silly idea. it would stand out and i think they look pretty with there barbels.. would substiture for the arrowana i wanted to add a few months ago

I would suggest not ever keeping any goldies with tropical fish. They require different temps and water quifications. And goldfish are so messy and they excrete a ton of ammonia. Don't mix goldfish with anything, but goldfish.
