Dwarf Puffer: Red Eye sockets/ridges

I checked some fish disease sites, but didn't find anything I could say for sure matched his symptom: One of my dwarf puffers has significant redness around the eyes, most noticable on the top and bottom. It looks like he was punched in the eye socket. I cant tell if its bulging, dwarf puffers have bulging eyes in a normal state. No other symptoms: he is active, eats, swims, etc. Only significant recent change to the tank was the addition of an otto and light dosing of flourish excel. Any ideas? I can try to get a picture of it later.

Mine fight like dogs occasionally, though they seem to just get each others fins and hang on. Maybe it was nipped in the eye? You might try a water change and then some Melafix? It seems to help heal up wounds and nipped fins.
