blue ram extravaganza!

i recieved a group of 10 german blues last friday. they are awesome. i dig their do's. kinda look like me... haha. anyway, i put them in a 10 gallon quarintine tank with a big clump of java moss and no substrate. on sunday, i noticed that they had what looked like ich. the next day, i got some kordon rid ich+ and put 3/4 of a teaspoon of it in. that night, i noticed that there were 3 pairs formed. one of the pairs even spawned in a corner. the eggs are stuck to the silicone. earlier tonight, another pair spawned in the opposite corner of the first spawn. i'm still treating them with rid ich because the instructions say to treat for 3 days after signs of ich are gone... all the fish seem healthy, except the 4 fish that arent int he mating mood. they are stressed by the pairs chasing them away. i cant put them anywhere else. well, enough of me rambling. i just hope everything turns out fine.

Glad to hear you have spawning rams.. Are you sure their german? Anyways.. about the ich.. I would treat up to a week after the spots disipate.. as ich is a parasite when the spots are gone they have merely turned into eggs at the bottom.. and will hatch in 5-7 days.. =] you only kill them with the medication after they have hatched..
