These are one of those fish that you can't get an idea of what they will be just by looking at those little bitty ones at LFS

my lfs is cool..they post peoples pictures on some of their walls..I've got some good prints of these Pearls and my friend that works there said he shows them to people to portray the mature beauty of these guys.

Alot of times LFS gets them in as small 2" babies.. very dull in color at this stage. Then again, if they don't sell much they might not carry them at all I spose..

Beautiful fish! I just got a pair of 2" pearls for my tank. They are already quite pretty and fun to watch. I hope my male turns out as nice as your's .
