Ack! No iron!
Finally picked me up an Iron test, cost me $3.00 thx to petcetera goin out of business (thank god, means more business to the LFS!)
So i test, wait $30. and bam, not even a particle of iron. I think i may have screwed up with my substrate, i was led to believe it was the same as black flourite, but i guess its inert, otherwise i'd have some trace of iron despite the age of the tank. So now to solve the issue. First, i'd like to enrich the substrate, i dont care if its a bit messy, easy enough to get a particle clumper and wait a few days for visibility, i'd just prefer to keep plants in. would love suggestions, even if it means ruining my marinade injector, lol. Also i know i need chelated iron. So for both of these, where in Vancouver canada can i get them. :P

Chelated Iron and GH Booster is all you need (well besides KNO3, KH2PO4, and Trace mix but you know that).
I use inert substrates all the time just for that fact, I get to add what I want when I want to without the substrate product dictating my fert regiment to me. - Brad
