I can't seem to be able to take the rear fan off had a little rust on the c ring and on the top of the fan , I did try to pull it off by hand but end up cracking a fin now! I do need to replace it in the future it can still be able to use now,
I did try some liquid wrench but did not work form me it's like something still holding it down? Have not try a pulley yet , I did use 2 screw drivers to pry off with no luck.

Hey, I've started planning for my dream tank, and if I save my pennies I might be able to make it happen within the next 2 years or so.

In the past I had a 90 gallon that I filled halfway and had archerfish, leaf fish, mudskippers, and I think I had an anableps for awhile (then our household disintegrated, had to take it down). The filtration was all internal, so maintaining it was difficult. It was well planted and had a waterfall and an atomizer fog machine, and some White's tree frogs, and it was awesome.

That was years ago. Now I want to step it up. I saw a 110X tank come into the aquarium shop I used to work at, and I immediately fell in love with it. I knew it would be the size of my "real" archerfish tank.

This will have to be an overflow system with a sump in the stand to minimize the equipment in the display. Any good designs and/or ideal pump systems for such a thing?

The display will have to be drilled. What is the best method for this?

I would like it to have custom rockwork on the back, but I have no idea the best materials and method to accomplish this, as I'm sure every method has pros and cons.

Any other ideas I'd love to hear.

BTW, this is the only shot I have of that 90gal:
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/1179/p0000965.jpg

Ideally this would be the centerpiece of a bigger system, where it would be flanked by two corner bowfronts with my orchids, but that's dreaming.

I've seen a few of these kits at the LFS. Maybe I should pick one up.
Well it went from 900 to 100 in a week, and yesterday I noticed a lot of bubbles, on a cardinal gasping, kinked in the middle and then die, it was fast.

I found a dead shrimp on the soil... oh no. Drop Checker was yellow... yikes. I am not sure is any shrimp lived, they are hard to find, and I lost one fish. Off to get the bottle topped off today. That really sucked.

I think I also need silicon tubing as well? No idea..

Also, I have an Eheim 2215 canister filter. I have read that I can use it as a diffuser and put my co2 into the intake of the filter. How is that done and is this recommended with my type of filter?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I will plant the tank moderatly and stock with a cleaning crew and a dozen tetras and 2 angels.

Does anyone have suggestions for me.

I also have the impression that you can use a canister filter to diffuse Co2 from a DIY setup is this correct?

What would be a great filtration system for this tank?
