co2 working pressure

if i am going to split my co2 line after the regulator but before the metering valves do i need to raise the working pressure on the co2 regulator for this to successfully put enough co2 into each tank or should i keep it the same?

No, that should not be necessary. The regulator is there to maintain the same pressure even with different flow rates. By splitting the line, you are just increasing the flow. It is not any different than opening one line up more.
