Dual 2217s good for 75-90 gal tank?

Title says it all. Reactor and heater inline.

Can the dual 2217 do the job well?

Sounds good to me. I have 2028 and 2217 on my 75g, but two 2217's would do same job. One advice, think about those eheim installation sets to replace the stock intake pipe and return spraybar, they're so much better!

That would definately be a good setup, i have a 2217 and 2236 ecco. I'd like to replace the 2236 with a 2217. Like said earlier, get the installation kit. The spray bar comes in three sections that can twist independant of each other so you can direct flow where you want it. And there will be some flow!!

It depends. I have (2) 2217s on my 90. But due to plant density I have to supplement flow with (4) Rio 50s. Also my tank is 36X24X24 so the front to back depth of the tank requires more flow in the front and back.

And it's so easy to clean, you can remove any piece without even turning off the filter.
