Kent Marine Revese Osmosis unit
Hi, I want to buy the Kent Marine RO24TFCCL revese osmosis unit. it produces 24 gallons a day. I have two question, fits it looks liek I can jsut scre on the hose to my facet and then let it run, is this true or do I need some plumber to install it? Second, it produces waste water, I am curious how mush waste water is there? Am I going to be wasting alot of water due to this? Thanks for your help, Michael

Michael.
I have no experience with the Kent system, but I do have an RO unit. If it comes with a faucet attachment, then you'll just need to unscrew the aerator (meshing that makes the water come out with bubbles in it) and screw in the RO unit. All RO systems produce waste water...All. Usually about 3 parts wasted for every 1 part purified. That's as good as they get for now. Ted |
