So,now that I have ordered my CO2 system, I have heard that the pH can drop in the tank. How is that remedied?

It's not remedied. I have no explanation for it, but you pretty much put as much CO2 in the water as you can (or want) without killing the fish. They'll be ok.

yea, if you see your ph dropping too much just cut back on co2.

The best technique by far is to stop measuring pH, since it is not an important parameter in a planted tank. Then you can run the CO2 to whatever concentration you want, short of suffocating the fish.
