The 6.6 pH buffer reference solution is there to show you what the shade of the green color should look like at 30 ppm of CO2. You can then adjust your CO2 level accordingly by observing the color of the indicator solution. I think that it's neat! It addresses the major problem with drop checkers by showing you what the correct shade of green is. |
