depends on the paint, some paints will flake off in the water so watch out. most paints dont even adhere to plastics like pvc.

i know krylon fusion works on plastic and is aquarium safe when it cures.

I've seen some threads where guys were useing krylon fusion to paint thier PVC structures black in their SW tanks.

I have used Kryon Fusion before in my tanks, and yes it works - just give it plenty of time to dry.

Yes. I Painted some PVC black with Krylon Fusion. It was in saltwater. The paint stayed long enough for the pipe to get covered with coralline algae
