I was skeptical about using the aquaclear mini as a CO2 reator due to the waterfall effect maybe letting too much of it go... WELL, I've been doing it for a while now, and I tested the level just before lights-on, and it was at a WHOPPING 62ppm!!!! I almost fell over! I'm now aerating at night, since it's yeast and I can't slow it down without trouble
Funniest thing was, the fish didn't seem distressed :? --cich |

Same deal here. My AC 150 on full power and no modifications to reduce surface agitation did it. My pH of 8.3 and dKH of 27 end up to be 7.6 and 23, which comes out to be 17 ppms CO2. This was about the level I was looking for and am very surprised it worked. I'm still trying to figure out why the KH dropped so much though.
