glass diamond bits -

I am in search of 1 7/8 or 2 inch diamond bits that do not cost 90$ each. Ebay seems to have some great selection, but neither of these sizes.

Any sources?

I used the cheap metric ones on ebay to drill glass that was almost a half inch in an oceanic tank for 1 inch and half inch bulk heads. 1 7/8 is close to 47.6mm, 2 inches is 50.8mm. Here's a link to something I'm positive you could make work. http://cgi.ebay.com/Assorted-42-53mm...QQcmdZViewItem

Another plug for that ebay seller, I got a bunch of differently sized bits. They were dirt cheap and work flawlessly.

Ok this is a great help! I will order them after the holiday. I need to drill about 40 tanks, I hope it holds up.

Just be carefull to keep it cool and well lubed (lots of water) I've drilled around a dozen holes so far, and have seen a very noticeable amount of wear on the bits where I wasn't as careful.

I use running water and it seems to work well. The smaller bit I have has drilled around 80 tanks without fail.

Thanks

I have 3 that I will sell. 1 is new or barely used (don't remember if I used it at all or not), 1 I used the most and 1 is inbetween. I was learning to drill glass, and only drilled about 5 holes total. I can take a pic of them if interested. Just send me a PM.

Thanx
