Clear spray bar

I saw some clear tubing I'm thinking about using to make a spray bar. How hard will it be to keep it clean? Will the water flow keep it from collecting algea, etc?

It will get dirty, and I would imagine some algae would attach since it would be clear and allow light in. Not to mention other deposits. I wouldn't use clear for a spray bar.

It'll probably get just as dirty as glass lily pipes.
Remember you see the dirt on the inside of your tubing.

I like clear. Yes it grows algae, but there are special brushes that make cleaning them a snap, and even if you don't clean them for a couple of months IMO they still look better than Eheim-green or Filstar-lightblue plastic pipes.

nothing special really... this is a part of my old mini filter's spray bar connected to the reactor with silicon glue. it has small holes along the side. obsolete photo really during the testing period, as i rescaped my tank and put the reactor at the back of the tank.
