Storing yeast

Is there any recommended way to store yeast ?
I bought about 200 grams og wine yeast earlier this year, I moved 2 months ago and just set up my tank again, I then made a CO2 mix yesterday and it didnīt produce any co2. I believe the yeast is dead.
So if I buy yeast in such big amounts, is there any way to store it without killing it?

Put it in a bag, in the fridge.

Should I close the bag so there will not be much air in the bag?

For best results vacuum seal the bag and store it in the freezer. If you don't have a vacuum sealer then remove as much air from the bag then seal.
