Get hurt? Just don't find him a two timing hussy! Lol jk. Seriously though, breeding chinchillas sucks. If their genetics don't line up perfectly, the babies might not be viable. 2 boys can make good buddies though.

I had a mosaic chinchilla many many years ago. He was the only successful kit from a pair we had that had some evident genetic incompatibilities. Cutest and softest animals ever.
