honestly, i have not checked into pylons. my introduction into python was via django. and i am still learning as i go along. My immediate experience with "programming" came from working w/ jsp files and being more of a front end developer. I strive to learn more and get more into actual programming on the backend. I have been meaning to look into pylons however
"my preference leans towards languages that don't normally sit within the main web path. All it takes is someone getting into your FTP account and bam... And i don't like php too much. but my main introduction to it was via drupal, joomla and wordpress.
i prefer python and the framework django."
have you done anything with pylons (or the pylons reimplementation in pyramid)?
