I have Red Cherry Shrimp. You would need to pick them up in Denver. Send me a PM if interested.

Welcome to the forum!

We also have some Cherries, some zangshenisis, and some Crystals, though we can't part with any of the crystals yet.

We will be making a big order later in the spring to get some more A and S class crystals. If you are interested, we could group order to share shipping costs.

Are the pepper (peppered?) cory's a Corydoras habrosus or C. Palateus? Would they be too little to eat planaria (got some in my cherry shrimp tank)? One site says they get up to 3.4" max and another says 1.5" (the one that says larger also says they eat small invertebrates - I was hoping to keep them with my cherry or yellow shrimp...) Guess that's out unless someone knows more about this species than what I just read!

The panda's I'm familiar with - but there's like a zillion "dwarf cory's" - which kind are the babies you have?

Would any of these cories be ok IN my shrimp tanks? If so, I could trade some yellow shrimp for some cories.

Can someone that knows more than me (and that would be pretty much everyone!) chime in here for the safety of my shrimp?

I know some people would hate this but I had shrimp (RCS and Amanos) with my large clown loaches. It wasn't for very long but the loaches did them no harm... except scare them during feeding (the loaches are fast and powerful... the shimp really didn't care for displays of power while they were eating).

Just my opinion but I have a hard time believing that a Cory (a realitively peaceful species) would bother any species of shrimp very much. Personally I would give it a shot.

Though this is not actually an experiential based opinion (at least with Corys) it is still my opinon none the less. There are others on this forum who have much more experience with shrimp than I.

I have had corries of many sizes (some quite large) in with my cherries with no troubles.

Also, we have a couple different kinds of corries that I would be willing to trade for yellow shrimp. Are they very yellow or kinda pale yellow?

I purchased some shrimp from Duane this week that are doing a good job of hiding in my tank. Thanks again Duane.

I'd be interested in purchasing some cories TAF CAF. If this is a possiblity let me know.
Thanks.

The cories will eat shrimplets but leave the adults alone.

Fish- Sag was not hijacking the thread, MYOB! lol

Now talking about my cat DEFINITELY would be hijacking!! But yes, that's my old lady of the house - 15 years old.

Now back to shrimp and cories - I guess Mooner has lost interest in more shrimp or a trade...

Sorry for the delay in answering Tally - I was trying to give Mooner a chance since it was his/her post - but I guess they lost interest in it. Send me a PM if you would with what kind of cories you have, how much you want for them if we don't trade (which we probably will). Thanks for the offer. I just need to know what kinds of cories so I can do my research before Friday's meeting.
