Aquatica, new LFS in Northern Colorado

For anyone who is interested, there is a new fish store in Frederick, CO (about 10 miles east of Longmont). The name of the store is Aquatica and located at 142 6th Street. I think the hours are normally 11 am - 7 pm Tue. - Fri. and 10 am - 7 pm on Sat. and Sun.

It's kind of a small place in a little strip mall, but he has a decent variety for his space. If you get a chance to check it out, stop by. Don't be afraid to ask about getting certain fish or even sharing you experiences.

There isn't a lot for plants, but he is working on getting some more and is trying to get a tank set up for plants.

Welcome to the forums! Hope you can make it to some of the upcoming Colorado Aquarium Society functions. We locals would love to meet you. There are usually great deals to be had on healthy plants at the monthly meetings. Check us out, and again, welcome aboard.

Went by there today, nice little place. He was cheaper on some of his fish then alot of places and they all looked healthy, minus a few. Cant expect perfection. His plant tank was set up so I took him some stuff, a couple water hyacinth and anubius, and water wisteria. He also has a few reef tanks setup if anyone is interested. I also took him some coral, he did a ok trade on it all. Seems like a good guy, spread the word to friends. I would hate to see another LFS go down the drain.
