Hey, I've missed a few meetings, but when did you guys start having movies at the meetings? No auctions or "fish lectures"? I'm confused, but then that's normal for me!

No need to be confused, Todd was just being silly . Last week Ted Judy presented a show on raising fry. And yes, we still have mini auctions. Now you just got to get to next month's meeting. I'm starting to think you only like to drive down when it is snowing .

Me too! Seems this summer has been crazy and it's SUCH a long day/night! 'Specially if we bring fish home, we don't usually get home before about 12:30, then by the time we acclimate and release the fish, it's like 2am before we finally crash into our pillows! We do love coming though. Hard to believe it's almost time for the next big auction already! Seeya soon...!

Yea, we will still have the mini-auction.

However, our program planner is trying to reserve money for the big to do on the 60th and all the speakers we are bringing in, so we are showing an informational video.

I missed the last one, but Chris learned a whole lot from it.

What's it going to be about next month? Is there still going to be a big auction in October or has that changed? Yum... mini auctions! Just when I need to cut down on my fish collection so we can sell the house! Anyone need some Honduran Red Points!? I REALLY need to find them some good homes and get some more room in the house by eliminating some tanks!

Not moving far at all, less than a mile LOL. Hubby is a builder and you know how the deal goes. Build it, live in it two years, sell it and beat the capital gains tax, and build another one. We have the next lot already picked out. Of course, since the market isn't so hot, we may have it on the market for another year

But if anyone has any great ideas on how to sell off something like a zillion Honduran Red Point juvies... I'm all ears. I need to get their tanks out of the dining room, but have no where else to put them, and some are getting close to mating age I think - so a tank full of ready to mate HRP's in close quarters with the other zillion of them - NOT a pretty picture! I tried Mike's Killer Fish and he said summer is his slow season So here I sit trying to sell off 6 here and 3 there... this will take the rest of my life! Any thoughts from anyone here??

Thanks for the encouragement to get back to a meeting Talley, we do miss everyone. Oh, Roy Flis said to say hi to everyone from Houston. Said he was part of CAS a couple of years back. Sorry, didn't mean to thread hijack!
