I was just curious as to where the local people get their plants as I can't seem to find much of a selection of plants in the area. I just moved to the Denver/Aurora area and I have been to a few shops here, South Broadway Tropicals, Sherman Tank Company, Todd's, Neptune's and Key's Island and Key's was the only place I found anything worth buying in the way of plants and it was java moss lol. I got some cheap plants from Petco but I don't think I will buy from them anytime soon as I went in there tonight and the plants were just horrid 10x's worse then went I bought the first batch of plants. I want to get some different plants than just the standard cabomba. So if anyone knows where to get a hold of some descent ( aka not dying ) plants please let me know as I don't have everything set up to buy online just yet and I already have one tank up and going and its looking lonely with just the java moss and such.
Thanks, Justin |

I seem to have found a really good selection, and for being in the UK, that is very hard to do. For once i had no idea of any good USA sites when a friend asked.
For plants i use: www.aquaticplants.eu.com - Greenline, excellent, helpful service with extras always in there. For other: www.aquaessentials.co.uk - Richard is such a nice guy and is very helpful. Even when the mail screwed up my order he sent me another for free. Great selection of products once thought only to be found in the US. |
