Default want some Aqua Soil or SMS

I need some aqua soil to fill up my 180gal. I wonder if any LFS sell less in bulk in Southern California, Orange County city. I want about 2" deep in my tank. I think about 10 bag of 9L. Or Soil Master Select Charcoal color

You can drive a little bit to Long Beach. All About Fish carries ADA stuff and almost always has AS in stock.

Coolpix, you really should read up on SMS.
using it could save you hundreds of dollars,
and u could then enjoy a deeper substrate,
which IMHO is better than infused minerals.

^^ also depends how deep his wallet is. 180gallons is quite a bit of gallons. With SMS, wouldnt he need to add more fertilizers than usual? Maybe he is kind of like me, lazy, and just wants to buy it and call it a day instead of wondering why xxx is not growing. In a 180 though, with my income, I would go SMS first and see how things go before spending 300.

The cost of dry ferts is negligible to the amount he'd spend for ADA AquaSoil.

With my tank, I dose dry ferts...despite 3" of ADA AquaSoil.

just wonder what is SMS ? I don't mind dosing fert. where do I get it ? what kind of Dry fert you guy dose the tank ? I am new to fert and hear a lot of good result of AS so I just try to get a good start on it, but i can take other option as long as it good for planted and especially my fishes.

Soilmaster Select. Google for "OliDry". They make that stuff. Lesco is a distributor that you can try to contact.

Dry ferts? NO3, SO4, PO4, and micros. Cheap stuff to buy.

I have used AS in my 29 and have since switched to SMS. I personally like the SMS better.

Halibass is correct about All About Fish carrying ADA AS as well as other ADA products. I will be stopping by today to pick up some more new animals, always a good selection there.

No answer from Lesco yet. but I think I would switch to SMS because of the cost and almost give same results as ADA product.Anyone from Orange County, CA can help me with 2 bags are great.

All About Fish is pricing the aquasoil at $38 for the 9l to be competitive with the online price + shipping
